BYO experiments in art and technology - 51 artists, everything, everywhere, all at once

B.AIT WEST is an artist led event focused on sound, moving image and live performance techniques. Artists are invited to share experimental, development and past work in preparation for future live performances or gallery shows. The event embraces BYO culture with artists bringing their own output device, small speakers and power cables. Everyone plays at the same time with each artist selecting their location and proximity to each other in the building. Sound bleed and feedback is part of the ‘everything, everywhere, all at once’ experience. Output sessions are typically two hours with a social gathering after.
