Partial Wave Child is a collaboration by composer Geoixos and audiovisual artist and composer Jockel Liess. It is a live electroacoustic project for augmented flute. Partial Wave Childs' performances are a joining of improvised acoustic offerings and a purpose-built software environment; creating seamless tapestries of live-processed, acoustic, and sampled sounds. Their compositions are immersive sonic worlds, inhabited by the audience for the duration of the performance, inviting them to experience the work in a meditative state of deep listening.
