Lucy Wei

Lucy is an animator / spatial artist based in London and Stockholm. With a background in experimental 2D animation, her practice has evolved into a multidisciplinary approach to post-cinematic moving images. She utilizes live material collection, projection, and moving images to explore the physical experience of ephemeral moments. Through a focus on the sensations of the body and the temporal narration of space, Lucy creates spatial art, performances, and immersive installations that aims to create dialogues between presence and impermanence.
