performances:

sofa sonic is an immersive performance where performers cuddle on a sofa, using wireless microphones to capture their voices and a touchme device to turn their touches into midi signals. these signals are received by an electronic musician, who acts as an operator, transforming them into live electronic improvisation. roma and fi interact with visitors through touch, conversation, and singing, inviting everyone to join them on the sofa, touch, and become part of the music.

sonic border is an interactive performance where visitors must cross a sound border to enter. at the checkpoint, they are asked to leave a piece of their voice in a microphone by saying something. the sound border agents then test the reliability of the voice through a brief live musical improvisation, determining whether to grant entry.
