aka Rob Flint
flomo is a project of artist Rob Flint for exploring live audiovisual performance, and real time sound and image processing.
Rob Flint is an artist who works with moving image, installation, performance, sound, image and text. He has performed with musicians like Sean O’Hagan (High Llamas, Stereolab), Charles Hayward (This Heat, About Group, etc) and the late great Cathal Coughlan (Microdisney, Fatima Mansions) with whom he collaborated on an audiovisual performance to mark Cork's year as European City of Culture in 2005. He also works with voice, and text scores for volunteer choral groups, with his participatory performance ‘Like Work’ taking place at the 2019 Venice Biennial.
flomo is currently working with Brutal Dreamsound, a collaboration with artists Jakub Rokita and Anna Fairchild, who will contribute to the performance at B.AIT WEST.
