Elizabeth Holly Morris

aka R4G

F7

R4G is an amateur guitarist and opera singer, currently studying fine art and creative computing. Her work explores themes of limerence, memory, hoarding and adolescent trauma. She likes to think of her work, both visually and auditorily as a palimpsest.

With roots in folk and ambient, along with an aggressive love for reverb and the music of Nico, R4G explores creating sentimental, and sometimes uncomfortable, minimalist soundscapes, with the use of pedals, guitars, and sampling. Manipulating and meshing together snippets of long improvisations, with vocals the centre.

She is currently working on a lengthy performance art film following her POV view of a journey in which she takes a vintage pram filled with found objects encased in glass jars throughout specific walks in London, beginning in Peckham, and ending in Walthamstow. In which she intends to soundtrack with found audio and voice notes.
