Dahee Han is an interdisciplinary communication designer, who works with sound, installation, and videography with research and practices related to public health and care.

Merging perspectives from innovative problem-solving and speculative thinking, Dahee challenges and reimagines processes in the health and care sectors. This approach allows her to explore new possibilities and address pressing health challenges in creative ways.

With five years of experience in the healthcare industry prior to studying at the Royal College of Art, Dahee has been developing solutions that support individuals with chronic conditions, creating a positive and lasting impact on their lives and minds. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of the community's needs, exploring creative ways to address them.

As a current master's student at the RCA, Dahee expanded her practice into new mediums, including sound, installation, and public engagement, enriching her multidisciplinary approach. Her works are based on practice and research, focusing on the topic of sensing, healing, and their connection to bodily experiences. These multidisciplinary explorations allow her to design immersive and meaningful experiences that deepen our understanding of health and care.

Dahee now seeks to find innovative ways of addressing real-world health and care challenges by balancing and integrating speculative thinking with practical applications. By blending visionary concepts with tangible outcomes, she pushes the boundaries of Communication Design, exploring how to integrate these approaches seamlessly. Her work aims to reimagine the future of healthcare by creating thoughtful, impactful interventions that resonate with both individuals and communities.
